Supplier Membership

SPPA Offers multiple levels of Supplier Membership.  Available Membership Categories:

  • Active Business Services Member: A company that sells services, information or products (other than promotional products) that support the normal conduct of business.  Annual Cost of Membership:  $95.00
  • Active Multi-Line Representative Member:  An independent company, contracted by one or more suppliers to market their products and services to distributors. Annual Cost of Membership:  $95.00
  • Active Supplier Member: A supplier is a company within the United States or its possessions that manufactures, converts, warehouses or decorates promotional products for sale to promotional products distributors or to a firm maintaining a division or affiliate devoted to reselling promotional products.  Annual Cost of Membership:  $95.00
  • Affiliate Supplier Member: A supplier is a company within the United States or its possessions that manufactures, converts, warehouses or decorates promotional products for sale to promotional products distributors or to a firm maintaining a division or affiliate devoted to reselling promotional products.  This membership is open to individual sales representatives from the same company which there is already an Active SPPA member in good standing.  Annual Cost of Membership:  $35.00
Membership Benefits
  • FedEx Discounts.  Through an agreement with FedEx®, SPPA members receive shipping discounts on three FedEx programs: FedEx® Express, FedEx® Ground and FedEx® Freight. For companies that regularly ship through FedEx, annual savings are an average of $300+.
  • Bright Ideas.  SPPA members receive our printed quarterly newsletter, Bright Ideas with articles for increasing business, announcements for upcoming SPPA events, advertisements and specials from SPPA members and legislative action alerts.  Bright Ideas has become a major resource for promotional product professionals in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and the Florida panhandle.  All member contacts will receive Bright Ideas.
  • Reduced Registration Rates for SPPA Shows.  Although Non-Member Supplier Companies are allowed to exhibit at the SPPA show, SPPA members receive reduced rates.  For most shows, this reduced rate is $100 less than non-member exhibit fees.
  • PPB Magazine. SPPA Members receive a free subscription to the PPB magazine, the official monthly business magazine of PPAI.  Total Savings annually:  $62.00, nearly the cost of an annual membership with SPPA!  All SPPA Member Contacts will receive the PPB.
  • SPPA Educational Scholarship Award.  Annually, SPPA awards a scholarship for up to $1,000 for members who are pursuing their MAS/CAS certification that is applied towards a professional development accredited seminar of their choice.  The funds may be used to cover the cost of the course as well as travel expenses.  All SPPA Member Contacts will be eligible to receive this award.
  • Voting Rights.   One vote per member on all matters relating to the association.  All SPPA Member Contacts will have voting rights.
  • Networking Opportunities.  SPPA offers member receptions, dinners and other special events to encourage networking between our supplier members and our distributor members.
  • Advertising Opportunities.  SPPA provides advertising opportunities in the form of quarterly mailings, newsletter ads and website ads.  Only SPPA members are able to take advantage of these advertising opportunities.
  • Sponsorship Opportunities.  Sponsoring a special SPPA event is a great opportunity to get yourself and your company in front of our distributor members.  SPPA sponsorship opportunities are only available to SPPA members.
