Get Inside the Minds of Alabama’s Tourism Industry

The tourism and hospitality industry accounted for $1.6 billion in promotional products sales before Covid, and they are bouncing back bigtime! Distributors are reporting a sharp increase in sales to the hospitality industry, given societal reopening and people’s willingness to travel. Drivable destinations (like Orange Beach) are booming like never before. Join us for a panel discussion to take you inside the minds of some of the area’s movers and shakers in tourism. How are they marketing their destinations? What role do promotional products play in their marketing efforts? What are the most effective tools?

>> READ THIS ARTICLE from the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) about how the travel/hospitality industry is starting to rebound and how distributors are capitalizing.

COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN:

The SPPA Holiday Showcase will be conducted in compliance with all Federal, State and local laws and requirements with respect to COVID-19. We urge all persons who plan on attending to become familiar with the Safety Plan. These rules are subject to change or modification.

The CDC currently recommends that individuals wear a mask in public indoor settings regardless of whether they’ve been vaccinated. Attendees can choose whether or not they want to wear a mask – it is not a requirement at this time. Presumably the exhibitors and show staff will come in contact with all attendees, therefore these individuals will be required to wear a mask during the show and will have their temperature checked on arrival.
